  • Yong-a Park Yongcheol, a lyric poet born in Gwangju, was a pioneer, along with Yeong-rang Kim Yunshik, opening a new prospect in the field of Korean poetry. The birthplace of Yong-a, who started a pure lyric poetry movement against the Kyeonghyangpa that swept the literary circles in the 1930s, is near the 3-way intersection in front of Kumho Tire, Sochon-dong, Gwangsan-gu.
