The CNUH Regional Cardio-cerebrovascular Center is established to perform a leading role in medicine in the country, by playing an important role as a base hospital for specialized treatment in the emergency treatment of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases and early rehabilitation, by preventing death and disability due to cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, by establishing the systematic treatment system for cardio-cerebrovascular diseases through improvement of health equity, and by educating and training specialized human resources and residents in the community.

The Regional Cardio-cerebrovascular Center, which is made of 4 specialized centers including cardiovascular center, cerebrovascular center, cardiocerebral rehabilitation center, and prevention and management center, will become the best comprehensive cardio-cerebrovascular center in the country through the establishment of organic cooperation system among medical institutions and several organizations in the region, in addition to the organic cooperation among specialized centers.
